Stay away from this.

Although it is widely popular around the world, iced coffee and other caffeinated beverages that have a high amount of sugar are the leading causes for sagging skin for those who are above the age of 50. Taking this drink out of a person’s diet will have a healthy effect on the skin and stop it from sagging at an early age.

The reason for the sagging skin is due to the caffeine dehydrating the skin and making it prone to wrinkles and sagging skin. Another reason for this is that caffeine can disrupt a person’s sleep quality which can stop cells from repairing the skin that happens overnight while a person sleeps.

The sugar associated with the caffeine causes the body to start aging early. This is due to the sugar reducing the amount of collagen and elastin proteins in the skin which in-turn leads the skin to be prone to wrinkles, sagging skin, and breakouts. Sugar also causes insulin levels to rise which can trigger breakouts on the face and other parts of the body.

A good alternative to iced coffee and other sugar caffeinated drinks is hot green tea. This helps fight inflammation while helping the skin grow and repair. It will also help protect against wrinkles and sagging skin.
