There are many ways people use to lower their blood pressure, this can include diets and exercise but this method can easily lower anyones blood pressure. This method is a simple breathing exercise anyone can do and can be done anywhere.
The method is called High-Resistance Inspiratory Muscle Strength Training. This method is done by vigorously inhaling through a handheld device that has resistance. A study tested this method with 36 adults who had high blood pressure. 1 group used the IMST while the other group did not. This resulted in the IMST group dropping down nine points while the other group saw no changes.
Experts say that this method can be done within 5 minutes each day. They also say that this method has a potential to help many individuals that suffer from high blood pressure. The reasoning on why this method in particular lowers blood pressure is still do be determined.
