Diet is a very important part of everyday life especially for seniors. Some foods could do more harm than good for the body. This popular food is causing memory loss and developing dementia at a quicker rate in seniors.

A recent study found that junk-food such as potato chips can significantly impact ones cognitive health and could cause serious damage in the future. Those who did not eat any junk-food during the study did not see any signs of memory loss while those who did failed a series of cognitive tests.

The study caused many experts to tell seniors to avoid junk-food because of the alarming results that were seen. The researchers also stated that these side effects could only take weeks to manifest.
