Dr. Anthony Fauci recently came out and said that he believes the best way to prevent getting infected with COVID-19 virus was for all Americans to get the booster shot.
Fauci claimed that the “optimal regimen” of vaccination was for people to get the “third shot” known by many as the booster shot.
According to the Washington Post, Fauci’s remarks came after the CDC announced that millions of Americans will now be eligible to receive a booster dose.
“Ultimately I believe that the optimal regimen for the mRNA [vaccines] is going to include that third booster shot,” Fauci said.
Currently almost 1 million Americans are in line to get their third shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.
Pfizer is also working to get approval from the FDA to get children between 5 and 11 years old vaccinated.
