Did You Know!

Each hair follicle on the human scalp goes through a cycle of growth, transition, and rest. The growth phase, known as anagen, can last anywhere from 2 to 7 years, during which the hair grows steadily. This is followed by a short transitional phase called catagen, lasting about 2 weeks, during which hair growth slows down. Finally, the follicle enters the resting phase, or telogen, which lasts around 3 months before the hair sheds and the cycle starts anew. On average, humans shed about 50 to 100 hairs per day as part of this natural cycle.
