You Can Be Allergic to Exercise

A rare condition called exercise-induced anaphylaxis causes some people to develop severe allergic reactions triggered by physical activity. Symptoms can include hives, swelling, dizziness, and in extreme cases, life-threatening anaphylaxis.

What makes it even stranger? In some cases, the reaction only occurs if the person eats a specific food before exercising. Without that food, exercise alone may not trigger symptoms.
