Did You Know!

Your Body Glows — Literally

Humans emit visible light.

Not metaphorically. Physically.

Your cells release tiny amounts of light called biophotons as a byproduct of metabolic reactions. The glow is about 1,000 times too faint for the human eye to detect — but ultra-sensitive cameras have captured it.

Interestingly, the glow fluctuates throughout the day and is strongest around the face.

You are, technically, bioluminescent.
