Here’s everything you need to know.

Getting a healthy amount of sleep is essential for a person’s health and their future. Without it they are prone to developing dementia as they age. Here’s why it’s important to get enough sleep.

A recent study taken with 2,610 participants showed that not getting a healthy amount of sleep has a negative effect on the body. The researchers found that those who did not get healthy amounts of sleep were twice as likely to develop dementia in the future rather than those who get healthy amounts of sleep.

The researchers advise that everyone should get a healthy amount of sleep daily to ensure they do not develop dementia in the future. They stated that even two hours less or more of sleep from the healthy amount can significantly raise chances for dementia development.
