🦷 Your Body Can Grow Teeth in the Wrong Places (Including Your Sinuses)
A rare condition called Hyperdontia can cause extra teeth to grow where they don’t belong.
- These “extra” teeth (called supernumerary teeth) can appear in the roof of the mouth—or even inside the nasal cavity or sinuses
- Many people don’t notice until they experience unexplained pain, infections, or breathing issues
- Dentists sometimes discover them accidentally on X-rays
👉 In extreme cases, a tooth growing in the sinus can mimic chronic sinus infections.
