Tired of water? Try THIS!

When you want to lose weight, many people recommend drinking nothing else besides water. However, if you have tried drinking only water for extended periods of time you will learn it can get boring very FAST.

There are several drinks that you may think are health but in reality almost none of them are. Energy drinks are full of sugar and so are many sports drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade.

Now, thanks to the people at Eat This, they have spoken to a dietitian Elizabeth Ward, MS, RD, and have learned that 1% low-fat milk is your best drink of choice if you want to lose weight!

“It’s filling, and it supplies protein to keep you feeling fuller for longer, something that water or other no-calorie drinks can’t do,” Ward said.

Furthermore, Ward said, “Drinking three glasses of low-fat milk every day can give you a metabolic edge that helps you burn calories faster.”

So, if you are trying to lose a few extra pounds consider drinking a few glasses of low-fat milk.
