Sadly, bread can become problematic for some Americans and here are some signs that you should stop thanks to Health Digest:
Weight Gain
A 2014 study found that those who eat two or more servings of white bread daily tend to suffer from obesity more than those who do not. If you are slightly overweight and know that you are eating two or more servings of bread, you might to stop and see what happens!
High Blood Pressure
A 2018 study found that those who eat one or more servings of bread daily are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure. Believe it or not but a single slice of white bread contains 130 milligrams of sodium. Those with high blood pressure should keep their sodium consumption down to 1,500 milligrams or less.
Other Reasons
If you regularly suffer from symptoms such as bloating, stomach pain, gas, diarrhea, joint pain, arthritis, anxiety, depression, rashes, and dental problems after eating bread you may be suffering from celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Please see your doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
