Did You Know!

Some people have golden blood — the rarest blood type in the world.

Known scientifically as Rh-null, this blood type lacks all 61 possible Rh antigens. Fewer than 50 people worldwide are known to have it. It’s so rare that it’s considered a “universal donor” for anyone with rare Rh-related conditions — but because so few donors exist, transfusions are extremely difficult for these individuals.
