🦴 Your Bones Are Constantly Rebuilding Themselves

Most people think bones are static, but they’re actually living tissue. About 10% of your skeleton is replaced every year through a process called bone remodeling. Old bone is broken down and new bone is built — meaning you essentially get a new skeleton every 7–10 years.

Why it matters: This process slows with age, which is why maintaining bone health becomes critical later in life.
