Did You Know!
Fascia Has More Nerve Endings Than Many Muscles
Most people think muscles are what feel pain—but fascia is actually more densely packed with sensory nerves than muscle tissue.
That means:
- Chronic pain often comes from irritated or dehydrated fascia, not muscle damage
- Fascia can trigger sharp, radiating pain even when scans show “nothing wrong”
- This is why stretching or massage sometimes relieves pain better than strengthening exercises
👉 Many doctors now believe fascia plays a major role in back pain, migraines, and fibromyalgia.
