Did You Know!
Your Nose Switches Dominance Every Few Hours
You never breathe evenly through both nostrils. Instead, your body alternates which nostril is dominant every 2–4 hours—a process called the nasal cycle.
One nostril allows more airflow while the other rests, helping:
- Keep nasal tissue from drying out
- Improve smell sensitivity
- Reduce infection risk
Most people live their entire lives without ever noticing this internal rhythm.
