The human digestive system is around 30 feet long: From the mouth to the anus, the entire digestive tract is about 30 feet long in an adult. This includes the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and rectum. Despite its length, the digestive system is compactly coiled inside the body to fit into the abdominal cavity.
