Food that a person eats can significantly impact the body in many ways. The diet is one of the most important parts of daily life. Unhealthy eating habits or bad diets can destroy the body and the skin.

It is well known that foods packed with collagen help the skin and make it look younger. However, these foods do the exact opposite and could very well damage the skin. One example of this is fatty meats, foods that are high in saturated fats are a big risk when it comes to preserving skin health. saturated fats are linked to increased insulin production which increases acne breakouts.

Foods that are high in the Glycemic Index are a big risk for skin health. High glycemic foods, such as white bread, white pasta, and potatoes can hurt the skin in many different ways especially if it is taken in high amounts. These foods cause acne breakouts and are linked to premature aging.
