Some skin disorders can follow invisible “lines” on the body. Certain conditions, including linear epidermal nevi and some inflammatory skin diseases, can appear along Blaschko’s lines—normally invisible patterns created as skin cells develop before birth. They don’t correspond to nerves, blood vessels, or lymphatic pathways.
