💀 You Have Tiny “Windows” in Your Skull
Your skull isn’t airtight. It contains foramina—tiny holes that act as passageways for nerves and blood vessels. The largest one, the foramen magnum, is where your spinal cord connects to your brain. Some skulls even have extra little holes (called parietal foramina) that vary from person to person — and no one knows exactly why some people have them and others don’t.
