Certain heart disorders can cause changes in your voice.
Some people with enlarged hearts or specific cardiovascular conditions develop a hoarse or weakened voice because swollen blood vessels or heart chambers can press against a nerve connected to the vocal cords. This rare condition is sometimes called “cardiovocal syndrome.”
