Quit soda NOW!
A new study from the University of California—San Francisco has found that people who drink sugar-sweetened drinks, such as soda, had shortened telomeres. The telomere is the part of your cell which contains DNA and the shorter your telomeres the more the cells age and eventually die.
Reduce overall sugar intake
According to a study published in the journal Clinical Dermatology, Sugar is very effective at damage collagen and elastin by binding to them. Collagen and elastin is what makes your skin so youthful and vibrant.
Prevent stress
Harvard Medical School reports that stress also causes your telomeres to shorten. Shorter telomeres don’t just mean poor aging, it can also cause cancer and problems such as heart disease.
