Did You Know!

Cold weather doesn’t actually cause the common cold. You have to be infected with a virus to develop a cold. However, colder temperatures and lower humidity may create conditions that help certain respiratory viruses spread more effectively. Research also suggests that cooler temperatures inside the nose may reduce some of the nasal passages’ natural antiviral defenses, potentially making it easier for viruses to establish an infection.
