Did You Know!

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can involve far more than cleanliness and handwashing.

Many people don’t realize that some forms of OCD are almost entirely mental. Individuals may experience intrusive thoughts about morality, religion, relationships, or harming others without any desire to act on those thoughts. This form, sometimes called “Pure O” (Purely Obsessional OCD), can be difficult to diagnose because the compulsions often occur internally through mental rituals, reassurance-seeking, or repetitive analysis rather than visible behaviors.
