Did You Know!
Muscles are composed of bundles of muscle fibers. These fibers are further categorized into two main types: slow-twitch (Type I) and fast-twitch (Type II) fibers. Slow-twitch fibers are more efficient in endurance activities and are resistant to fatigue, while fast-twitch fibers generate more force and are used in activities requiring short bursts of power, such as sprinting or weightlifting.
